Organic colour grown cotton yarns have been grown and produced in Peru for thousands of years. Now that the advantages of certified organic, and dye-free products are being recognised, more farmers are encouraging these coloured cultivars. Certified by Skal and Fair-Trade certified, these yarns are super soft, and smell fabulous (have you ever even wanted to smell synthetic knitting yarns????).

Organic colour grown cottons still have some of the natural cotton boll wax intact – washing in warm water will remove these waxes, making the yarns more water absorbent. Washing in hot water will deepen the natural colours, particularly the greens. Gentle hand or machine wash. Tumble dry (low heat) or dry flat. Approx 50g or 81 metres (88 yards) per skein. 18st/10cm on 4.5mm needles (US 7). These are the yarns you will keep coming back for because they are so soft and breathable against your skin.
