Used for decades as a natural exfoliant the loofah is actually a member of the cucumber family (not a sea sponge). The ends are chopped off, the cucmber dries out, and the end result is a beautiful looking natural loofah sponge, perfect for exfoliating. Please note that the cord no longer comes with the loofah, but it is easy to add your own if you want to hang it up.

The loofah may be used wet or dry, but should be left in a warm well ventilated area to dry out between uses if it is being used wet. The perfect vegan or vegetarian sponge!
